A couple of years ago, during the annual all-through-the-night Northern Spark Festival, the Grove of Life engaged almost 1,000 community members in sharing their personal commitments to take action for a lower-carbon future.

Our project organizing team included Ruby Thompson, Pat Thompson, Leslie MacKenzie, Peter Foster, Peter Doughty, Michael Russelle, and myself — all members Twin Cities Transition Town groups. (Transition Towns work toward a positive local response to climate change.)
